1972 240z

This build Started out as 1972 240z that got side swiped and went 3 feet into water hydro locking the engine and its bad fortune didn't end there shortly after it was hit with softball sized hail destroying all of the body panels. In a turn of events GZ customs took possession of this car we fully dissembled the vehicle down to every nut and bolt. Sand Blasted away the 5 paint jobs from its previous life. To our surprise there was no rust however there was some very shady work and what looked like someone thought this car was a rock crawler. A few hundred hours later both floorboards, rails and rockers were replaced. We had to make countless custom repair panels, due to all the damage and shady work. After all the repairs we sealed the vehicle with epoxy to prevent corrosion while we test fit all the mechanical parts. As well coated the underside and inside with lizard skin sound and insulation. We started test fitting all the parts. We installed apex engineering full suspension kit. With 370z diff, trans, hubs and Akebono calipers with dual calipers in the rear. Brand new steering rack and electric power steering column. We prepared to drop in the l28et mated with a t5 transmission. Shortly after we ran and tucked all the wires from the MS3X ECU to the engine going through an aircraft grade quick release firewall connector. As well as all the fuel line, vacuum lines and coolant hoses all have valved quick release fittings. We can disconnect all these hoses with 0 tools and without spilling a drop of fluid. Making working on this vehicle very simple and fast just like a f1 car. We got the car 3d scanned with a state of the art 3d scanner that cost more than most cars on the road. We took that 3d scan and added our own touch of perfection to the body leaving us with a custom body kit for the car that is truly unlike any other body kit for the 240z. Next, we are 3d printing the body kit and making a mold of it to make out of carbon fiber. That is where the car stands at the moment. follow us to watch the progression of the whole build.
